Saturday, Nov. 1 - Multicultural Children’s Book Festival. Noon-6 p.m. Kennedy Center, 2700 F St. N.W., Washington, D.C. Book signings, interactive workshops, performances, readings by noted guest authors, illustrators and storytellers. Performances on the Millennium Stage include West African dance; drumming troupe Farafina Kan; Silk Road Dance Company’s women’s dance traditions from Middle East, Central Asia, the Caucasus; Washington, D.C., hip hop dance company Culture Shock.
