Hotel proposal gains new life

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15 2008

The Herndon Town Council voted unanimously Oct. 14 to consider an amended proposal by Diamond Properties to develop an extended-stay hotel in the downtown. The amended proposal has been toned down in scale to a four-story structure from its initial incarnation as a five-story structure. The amended proposal will now go before the Herndon Planning Commission and come back to the Town Council for a Nov. 11 public hearing.
